續首支極具爆炸力的回歸全打Dirrty後，這回克莉絲汀以感人的單曲Beautiful表達真我。"Dirrty"最初之所以被相中為全打完全是基於那是Christina的新單曲首選，不過，"Beautiful"的歌詞'I am beautiful no matter what they say/ Words can't bring me down'卻有平衡"Dirrty"所挑動的激情色彩的效果。樂牌主管Gottlieb說:「那首歌讓她有機會證明她絕對能有超乎派對歌與那支飽受議論的影帶之外的表現，這首歌讓她可以進一步討論她的專輯，讓大家知道這張專輯有多棒，而不只是一張有15首跟"Dirrty"一樣的歌的專輯，那是一張還有15首不同風格歌曲的作品。」

Beautiful是一支由Linda Perry作的優美抒情曲，Perry其實很久之前已經作好這首歌的了，但遲遲找不到適合人選。當Christina初接觸Perry時，她以一試的心態唱了一遍，怎知一take便成功了。連Christina也不相信地問:「這真行嗎？真的不用再試?」但Perry說：「不用了! 我就是要妳最真的一面。」

Beautiful上台後深受電台聽眾歡迎，加上感恩節關係，單曲一上榜就得到62名，現在更成為繼Genie In A Bottle之後點播增長得最快的一支強勁抒情曲，相信不久又會成為小克第五首No.1了！其MTV會交給曾為Mariah Carey拍錄影帶的Jonas Akerlund負責。
